DIY Beach Glass Vase

Today I found the most amazing spray paint out there! I was doing my usual shopping in Michael's when a "Sea Glass" spray paint title caught my eye. I decided, for $10, I'm going to try this! I'm always looking for new ways to fancy up my glasses for customers, and I am a REAL beach girl. I figured it would probably just be another waste of $10, but woah. As you can see from the photo's it's not a waste! It produced the most beautiful colored vase I own yet! All I need to do now is add a little ribbon or twine and this will be such an adorable beach house vase.

Although it may be a little intimidating to use at first, it's actually quite simple and easy to work with. Just grab any glass that you want to spruce up (I grabbed a glass pitcher and decided to turn it into a vase), make sure you clean it to give the paint a nice clean surface to stick to, and then gift it a light spray. You don't want to spray too much at once or it will drip, but you can add more layers onto the color once it dries. You'll most likely also want to use a top coat, as this paint scratches very easily.

And that's about it! Super easy and definitely my go to paint when I want to "beautify" something! Haven I mentioned how much I love the beach and beach glass? 😍

This style will look good in almost any home style. I personally think of little beach cottages when I think of sea glass (obviously), but this spray paint will also bring elegance to traditional homes as well as farmhouses. Use it to brighten up you bathroom, kitchen, dining room, living room, entry way, office, etc! Use it on old wine bottles, vases, jars, canisters, pitchers, etc. Just make sure that wherever your spraying is not in a place that will come in contact with food and/or beverages (hence why I only did the bottom of my wine glass).

I hope I've inspired you to go out there and buy a can of sea glass paint! If you've tried it or plan on trying it, please let me know! Leave a comment or find me on Instagram (@laurennxelizabethhx). I love hearing from you all :)

Thanks for stopping by!
